What better way to kick off 2025 than with a good ol’ Holo Holo Music Festival? If you missed it, Holo Holo kicked off the new year with their very first show in Oceanside, CA!
The lineup? It might’ve been a little on the smaller side, but the energy from the artists and the crowd was BIG KINE! From Common Kings to Josh Tatofi, Spawnbreezie, K’Nova, and 8ro8, it was a night filled with amazing performances that brought the house down. Inside the Frontwave Arena, the vibe was electric, and the energy was present, both from the artists on stage and from everyone there to experience the true Holo Holo atmosphere! This show was definitely one for the books.
Missed it? Don’t worry, because there are more Holo Holo shows coming your way, including one in Las Vegas this April! Head over to holoholomusicfestival.com for more info. But for now, let’s dive into the fun stuff: standout moments and favorite moments from each act!
The Standout Moments
- Common Kings: These guys never disappoint! As expected, they killed it on stage and even brought out a special guest, none other than Sammy Johnson, who graced us with his incredible vocals. The crowd? Pure energy, singing along to every song and making it an unforgettable experience.
- Spawnbreezie: You know his hit “I’m In Love” featuring Celle, right? Well, our favorite moment from his set was seeing Celle come out to perform that track live alongside him! Talk about nostalgia—hearing them together on stage was a throwback moment for sure.
- Josh Tatofi: Josh Tatofi took the stage with two amazing dancers who grooved alongside him on fan-favorite tracks like Fakateretere and Pualena. But that’s not all, he also had the legendary Tiana Nonosina Liufau join him on stage, helping bring the live experience to life with her energy and musical expertise. Seeing the band in action and witnessing the magic of a live performance made his set truly special.
- K’Nova: If you know, you know, K’Nova is the definition of nostalgia. Maybe you grew up listening to him on MySpace or SoundCloud, and his music still hits just as hard today. A standout moment from his set was seeing him in perfect sync with his live band and backup singers, creating a great performance. Fans were singing loud and proud to hits like Valentine (or, as some remember it, Oh How I Wish), Frontline Soldier, Roses and more. His discography? Unbeatable.
- 8ro8: The rising star from Hawai’i, 8ro8, made his Holo Holo debut, and he absolutely crushed it! He brought along his friends Franskiiz and Lelz to perform with him, and the energy between them was contagious. It was a blast watching these young artists vibe together and bring something fresh to the stage. Keep an eye on this guy, he’s got a bright future ahead.
These were just some of my favorite moments from an unforgettable show. I also want to shout out the amazing hosts, The Western Conference’s BigBodyCisco and Westafa, who kept the crowd hyped and energized all night long. We appreciate everything they do for the Holo Holo community!
Until next time, Holo Holo Music Festival! Huge thanks to the team for putting on an incredible event and bringing our people together for an unforgettable night of music, vibes, and memories!
