‘Ouana Turns One

One year on from its October 2023 release, Josh Tatofi's anthem is still running the BBQs, the weddings and the sold-out rooms.

When you hear “Sii Hoku ofa'anga, Fakangalo ngata'a, Sii ho'o fofonga malimali, and then Oka oka Lau Hani” – you already know it's about to go down! Or better yet, as soon as you catch those opening chords of ‘Ouana, you know it's a wrap. Time is flying, right? Because, guess what: ‘Ouana by Josh Tatofi just hit its first anniversary! One whole year of this absolute anthem, which officially dropped in early October 2023, and it's already iconic.

‘Ouana isn't just a song; it's a vibe that's still buzzing and will keep buzzing for generations! You can play it five times in a row, and each listen just gets better. This track has rooted itself deep in our playlists and our hearts – you hear it everywhere from family BBQs and weddings to concerts and any event worth a playlist. It's quickly become a staple, and there's no end in sight!

Josh Tatofi recently wrapped up a tour across the South Pacific and West Coast USA, where ‘Ouana was the crowd favorite. Imagine those SOLD-OUT shows, the anticipation building, and then ‘Ouana drops – the whole place just goes off! Everyone's dancing, singing, screaming the lyrics like it's the first time they've heard it. We love to see it!

Huge thanks to Josh and his crew for gifting us with this masterpiece. May it live on forever and keep bringing people together for years to come. We'll keep singing it out loud, dancing like nobody's watching, and keeping ‘Ouana on replay for all the unforgettable moments it creates. Oooweeee!
